The site is an encyclopaedic catalogue of metal bands, artists and discographies, plus community tools: member profiles, fan content, a show calendar and a directory of businesses and professionals.
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Band, artist, album and movement pages are produced by us from public sources, for informational, historical and journalistic purposes. They are not profiles created or managed by the bands, and being listed implies no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.
Names, trademarks, logos and album covers belong to their owners and appear here to identify the work being discussed — permitted use in an informational and critical context. Third-party photographs are published where the licence allows, always crediting the author.
If you own rights and believe some content should not be here, use the correction and takedown channel described below. We review and respond.
Anyone can request a correction to catalogue data or the removal of content, through the correction button on band and artist pages, or at contato@metalicks.com.
Takedown requests must identify the requester and the right involved. We assess case by case and remove or correct where the request is well founded. Factual errors we fix gladly — the catalogue is only worth having if it is right.
Creating an account requires a valid, confirmed email address. You are responsible for what happens through it and for keeping your password safe.
Under-18s should only use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not create accounts for children under 13.
One person, one account. You may close yours at any time and request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Videos, photos, text, show information, reviews and any other material you submit remain yours. You transfer no ownership to us.
By submitting, you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, resize and promote that material within Metalicks and in promoting the site itself, for as long as the content remains published.
By submitting, you confirm you hold the necessary rights — that the material is yours or that you have permission from whoever holds it. Uploading someone else’s material without permission is the uploader’s responsibility.
If you delete the content or your account, we take the material down. Backup copies may persist for a short technical period until overwritten.
Community submissions go through curation before appearing on the site. We may approve, reject, correct objective data (spelling, date, city) or remove content later, without prior notice where there is legal or safety risk.
We are under no obligation to publish. Rejecting a submission is not a penalty or a judgement about who sent it.
Breaking these rules may lead to content removal and account termination, depending on severity.
Some features require a subscription. What you pay for are TOOLS (page customisation, gallery, campaign tracking, metrics) and clearly labelled PROMOTION.
No plan buys catalogue presence or editorial position. Being listed, having a page, line-ups, discography and appearing in search, tributes and related bands is free and will stay free. Paid promotion is always signposted to the reader.
Subscriptions are charged on a recurring basis through the chosen method and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time: access continues to the end of the period already paid, with no penalty.
Right of withdrawal: within 7 calendar days of purchase you may withdraw and receive a full refund, under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code.
Prices may change. A price change never applies to a period already paid, and we give notice before the next renewal.
The site embeds YouTube, Vimeo and Spotify players and links to external sites, including ticket sellers. That content belongs to whoever publishes it, and we control neither it nor those services’ policies.
Ticket and business links are informational. Purchases made on third-party sites are between you and them.
We work to keep the site up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. There may be downtime for maintenance, technical failure or causes beyond our control.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If something you pay for is discontinued, we tell you and refund the unused portion.
The catalogue is built carefully, but historical information can contain errors. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy and are not liable for decisions taken solely on what is published here.
We are not liable for user-submitted content or for third-party content embedded on the site, without prejudice to removing it when notified.
Nothing in these terms removes rights guaranteed to consumers by Brazilian law.
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account that breaches these terms, telling you why unless legally prevented from doing so.
Once an account is closed, the content you submitted comes down. The catalogue itself — our editorial content — remains.
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the site with reasonable notice, and the update date at the top of this page always reflects the version in force.
Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the new version.
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of São Paulo/SP are chosen for disputes, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to sue in their own place of domicile.
