Alessandro Bissa — Italian drummer known as Bix — was part of Vision Divine in different phases of the band, and is a familiar figure in the Italian melodic metal circuit. His path includes Labÿrinth, Olaf Thörsen's other band, which makes him part of the same core of players that sustained both groups over the years. That circulation was characteristic of the Italian scene: a relatively small set of musicians fed several bands of European standing at the same time. As a drummer, he works in a repertoire combining power metal, progressive sections and neoclassical arrangements within the same track — a format demanding both sustained speed and the ability to steer changes of tempo and metre without breaking the continuity of the piece.
