Dave Chedrick — born in the United States in 1969 — has been Manowar's drummer since 2022, part of the line-up the band assembled to resume activity after a period of instability. His function is particularly demanding. Manowar's repertoire was recorded across four decades by drummers of different profiles — above all by Scott Columbus, whose brutal attack and stainless steel kit defined the sound of the classic albums. Reproducing that material live means delivering constant volume and weight, at high tempos, in a repertoire that offers almost no moments of rest. Alongside Michael Angelo Batio and founder Joey DeMaio, he is part of the group's current configuration, which continues to tour above all in Europe, where the band keeps its most solid following.
