Philip Krause — drummer — was part of Trillium, the authorial project of singer and songwriter Amanda Somerville. Trillium has two records, Alloy (2011) and Tectonic (2018), seven years apart — an interval reflecting the project's nature: Somerville kept an intense schedule throughout her career as a vocal coach and guest singer in European metal, with work tied to Avantasia, Epica, Kamelot and Aina, and Trillium is the space in which she appears as principal author.
