Angelo Parisotto

Angelo Parisotto — Brazilian vocalist — is part of the Hibria line-up presented in 2026. That line-up marks the deepest break in the band's history: it is the first without Iuri Sanson, who held the microphone for twenty-one years and whose voice — an extreme high chest register inherited from the school of 1980s traditional heavy metal — was the group's sonic mark. Succeeding in that position is a hard task for technical reasons, not only symbolic ones. Hibria's repertoire was written for a very high and powerful register, and records such as Defying the Rules (2004) and The Skull Collectors (2008) demand exactly the same range on tour. There is no way to simplify without disfiguring the tracks. Parisotto takes on that charge in the reformulation led by Abel Camargo, founding guitarist and the only remaining link to the original 1996 line-up.
