Exit Eden

Germany

Symphonic Metal · since 2017

Exit Eden is a multinational symphonic metal project built around a simple but striking concept: taking well-known pop, rock and dance hits and re-imagining them as lush, orchestral metal. Formed in 2017 and based in Germany, the band brought together four established female vocalists from four different countries — Amanda Somerville, Clémentine Delauney, Anna Brunner and Marina La Torraca. Rather than a conventional band with a fixed frontwoman, Exit Eden is a genuine vocal ensemble. The debut album, Rhapsodies in Black (2017), established the formula with symphonic versions of songs by Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Depeche Mode and others, entering the German charts at No. 15. In October 2023 founding member Amanda Somerville stepped down, and the remaining three continued as a trio, recording Femmes Fatales (2024). The album leans on 1980s material and, for the first time, includes original songs, reframing Exit Eden from a covers curiosity into a working band with its own identity.
