Fabio Lione's Dawn of Victory

Fabio Lione's Dawn of Victory is an Italian live project formed in March 2025 by singer Fabio Lione, the voice of Rhapsody (later Rhapsody of Fire) across its defining 1997–2011 period, and later of Angra, Vision Divine, Kamelot (touring) and Turilli/Lione Rhapsody. After Turilli/Lione Rhapsody disbanded in 2023, Lione assembled the project specifically to bring the classic, symphonically driven Rhapsody repertoire back to the stage. The name is taken from Rhapsody's 2000 album Dawn of Victory. The core line-up reunites Lione with long-standing Rhapsody-family musicians: Dominique Leurquin (guitar), Patrice Guers (bass) and Alex Holzwarth (drums), joined by Justin Hombach (guitar/keyboards). The repertoire is drawn entirely from Rhapsody's back catalogue — "old school" material such as Dawn of Victory, Emerald Sword, Holy Thunderforce and Power of the Dragonflame. On some dates the project performs the entire Dawn of Victory album in full, and certain shows have been staged with orchestra and choir. The project has released no studio material and is presented purely as a live celebration of Lione's Rhapsody legacy.
