Andria Busic built his musical training in a house crossed by jazz, blues and rock. Son of trumpeter André Busic and brother of drummer Ivan Busic, he began his career in groups such as Platina and Cherokee, later playing in Taffo, Ultraje a Rigor and the Supla band. The period gave the bassist and vocalist an unusual experience in Brazilian metal: refined technique, wide repertoire and familiarity with both the direct song and more elaborate instrumental structures. In 1991, Andria, Ivan and guitarist Edu Ardanuy formed Dr. Sin. The trio became one of the main references of national hard rock, supported by Andria's powerful voice, the bass lines in the foreground and a sound that combined weight, virtuosity and progressive influence. From Dr. Sin to Back Home Again, the band built an extensive discography and toured festivals such as Hollywood Rock, Rock in Rio and Monsters of Rock, in addition to sharing stages with important names in international rock. At the same time, Andria acted as a producer, took part in projects such as Casa das Máquinas and Busic and returned to playing with Ultraje a Rigor. In 2026, he released Life As It Is, his first solo album, produced by the musician himself and based on personal experiences accumulated over four decades of career. The album synthesizes its identity: muscular hard rock, direct melodies and a refined execution that never turns technique into purpose.
