Dr. Sin is a Brazilian hard rock band formed in São Paulo in 1991 by singer/bassist Andria Busic, drummer Ivan Busic, and guitarist Edu Ardanuy. The trio signed with Warner Music and released their self-titled debut in 1993, featuring the hit "Emotional Catastrophe." That same year they shared the Hollywood Rock festival bill with Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and L7. Through the 1990s and 2000s, Dr. Sin opened for international giants including Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Pantera, and Steve Vai. In April 2009, the band opened for Kiss at Arena Anhembi in São Paulo before more than 40,000 fans. Later albums Bravo (2007), Animal (2011), and Intactus (2015) preceded a 2016 breakup. Andria and Ivan Busic revived Dr. Sin in 2018, releasing Back Home Again shortly after.
