Bill Hudson — Niuton Rodrigues Filho, born in Brazil on 13 January 1983 — has been Trans-Siberian Orchestra's guitarist since 2015 and is one of the Brazilians with the most established career in international metal. He joined TSO on the 2015 winter tour, replacing Joel Hoekstra, who at that moment was touring with Whitesnake. It is a seat with specific demands: the group's repertoire is written as a symphonic work, with fixed parts, orchestral sections and staged choreography, and the company plays arenas across the United States in two simultaneous tours. There is no room for improvisation — it is work of reading and precision. His earlier path runs through bands tied to German metal and American death metal. He played in U.D.O. and Dirkschneider, both fronted by Udo Dirkschneider, formerly of Accept, and in I Am Morbid, the project of Morbid Angel's David Vincent. He is currently lead guitarist of NorthTale, the power metal band he founded. He has performed in more than fifty countries and at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Graspop and Loud Park, which makes him one of the few Brazilian musicians to move permanently through the main circuits of European and American metal.
