Delpht was a progressive/power metal band formed in 1994 in São Paulo, Brazil, founded by drummer Alexandre Callari and guitarists Rodrigo Cruz and Luis Casadio. The band recorded its debut demo, "Far Beyond," in 1997. After internal conflicts and a lineup rebuild, Delpht released its debut album, "Screams of Ice," in 2000, blending traditional heavy metal with power and progressive metal elements. A revised lineup recorded the band's second album, "Living in Fantasy," released in 2005. Delpht ultimately disbanded in 2007. Despite never achieving wide international recognition, the band is remembered within Brazilian metal circles as a notable act of the country's power/progressive metal scene.
