Max Green — American bassist — is one of Escape the Fate's founders and the bassist of the phase that carried the band to national reach. He was in the original Las Vegas line-up in 2004, recorded Dying Is Your Latest Fashion (2006) still with Ronnie Radke on vocals, and stayed through the group's most delicate crossing: the 2008 change of singer. He is on This War Is Ours (2008) and the self-titled record of 2010 as well — that is, in both the Radke phase and the Mabbitt phase, which makes him one of the few links between the two. With Robert Ortiz on drums he formed the rhythm foundation of that whole period, Escape the Fate's most visible. He left the band in 2012, with a brief return some years later, and went on with projects of his own. His departure was surrounded by personal difficulties he himself made public — a frank account, in a field where that kind of matter is usually handled with evasive statements.
