Falling in Reverse

Falling in Reverse formed in 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, founded by vocalist Ronnie Radke while he was serving a sentence for a parole violation tied to a 2006 incident. Radke had previously fronted Escape the Fate but was removed from the band amid his legal troubles, which led him to create a new project — initially called "From Behind These Walls" before becoming Falling in Reverse. After his release in December 2010, the band recorded and released the debut album The Drug in Me Is You (2011), a post-hardcore/metalcore record that reached the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. From there the group's sound diversified continuously: Fashionably Late (2013) and Just Like You (2015) incorporated rap-rock, pop-punk and electronic elements, while later records such as Coming Home (2017) and Popular Monster (2024) invested in alternative metal, orchestral arrangements and cross-genre experimentation. Despite a long history of lineup changes — including the death of founding guitarist Derek Jones in 2020 — Falling in Reverse remain one of the most commercially successful and controversial acts in modern post-hardcore/metalcore, releasing singles such as "God Is a Weapon" (2025, featuring Marilyn Manson) through Epitaph Records.
