Bullet for My Valentine

Bullet for My Valentine is a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998, originally as "Jeff Killed John" by school friends Matthew Tuck, Michael "Padge" Paget, Nick Crandle, and Michael "Moose" Thomas. Renamed in 2002, the band signed with Sony BMG. Their 2005 debut, The Poison, became a breakout success, followed by Scream Aim Fire (2008), which debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and cemented their reputation as a leading metalcore act. Subsequent albums — Fever (2010), Temper Temper (2013), Venom (2015), Gravity (2018), and the self-titled Bullet for My Valentine (2021) — shifted between radio-friendly rock and heavier metalcore. Matthew Tuck and Michael Paget remain the band's constant creative core, now joined by Jamie Mathias and Jason Bowld. Today Bullet for My Valentine continues touring globally, recognized as one of the most successful British metal exports of their generation.
